Construction Labour Service

In 1996, the company started dispatching construction technical intern trainees to Japan and officially launched the construction manpower services cooperation business.

In 2000, 289 welders and oil plumbers were dispatched to oil and gas projects of Korea Hyundai Construction Group in the Middle East such as Kuwait, Libya and the United Arab Emirates.

In 2003, the company was selected as one of the first group of companies to send construction workers to Singapore by China International Con-tractors Association.

In 2017, the company explored the New Zealand market and started the construction manpower cooperation for the high-end market.

At present, the company has accumulatively dispatched nearly 7,000 construction workers such as bricklayers, carpenters, steel fixer, scaffolders, plumbers, electricians, welders, shuttering carpenters, etc.

Taking the advantage of international engineering contracting business of Weihai International Economic & Technical Cooperative Co., Ltd. in Africa, South America, Southeast Asia, etc., the construction manpower services have developed rapidly. Nearly 14,000 workers have been dispatched. The dispatched workers cover 57 occupations in 7 categories including personnel for the general construction work, personnel for special operations, drivers and heavy equipment operators, etc.

The company adopted Singapore's building standards in terms of skills training and the pass rate of training reached 85%. In order to fully meet the requirements of foreign employers, taking the characteristics of domestic construction labor resources into consideration, the company actively strengthens language training while strengthening the skills training of workers, and the pass rate of training reached 98%.
